A reddish egret stands in shallow water, partially hidden under its elegant wing. Its feathers have shades of blue and gray, creating a striking contrast with the water beneath. Its eye is peeking out from between feathers as it looks for a fish.

Sally Fuller

I grew up in western Pennsylvania and was drawn to animals and nature from an early age. As a child I was happiest exploring the local woods, catching salamanders and picking violets and lilies of the valley. Continuing throughout adulthood, I still feel most at peace when I am immersed in a natural setting. In addition to my passion for nature, I have been drawn to art throughout my life, painting in oils and watercolors, and avidly pursuing photography, which is now my chosen medium. My photographic pursuits represent a logical extension of seeing and appreciating nature. In my work, I like to explore the boundaries between photography and artistic interpretation. As such, some of my photographs are purely the beautiful images...
